LISA, DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPLE STYLIST
From the moment I first drove down the main road of McLaren Vale, I knew this was where I was meant to be. I told myself that one day I would own a salon here—and in 2010, that dream became a reality.
Beyond Beautiful Style Lounge is more than just a salon to me; it’s a space where clients feel relaxed, confident, and completely at ease with their stylist. I envisioned an environment that lifts and supports women, encouraging self-love and confidence with every visit. My ultimate dream? To see every guest walk out the door with the iconic hair flick, feeling their absolute best!
With over 30 years in the industry, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. From the moment I completed my apprenticeship, I knew self-employment was the path for me—following in my parents’ footsteps. It hasn’t always been easy, but through hard lessons, dedication, and ongoing education, I’ve built something I’m incredibly proud of.
Beyond Beautiful Style Lounge, alongside my two beautiful daughters, is my greatest masterpiece. And I feel so blessed to be part of this amazing community, creating lasting friendships along the way.

CARLY - MASTER STYLIST
I’ve been a passionate hairdresser for over 20 years, with the last seven spent at Beyond Beautiful Style Lounge. I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing clients, helping them achieve their perfect look, and building lasting connections.
I love the artistry of hairdressing—there’s something incredibly fulfilling about transforming someone’s hair and seeing their confidence shine. For me, it’s not just about the style; it’s about creating a look that makes my clients feel their absolute best.
Outside of the salon, I’m an avid foodie and wine lover, always exploring the culinary gems of McLaren Vale. I also enjoy spending time at the beach and keeping active at the gym, finding the perfect balance between relaxation and fitness.
The best part of my job is connecting with clients, hearing their stories, and collaborating to create hair that makes them feel wonderful.
LIZ - MASTER STYLIST
My passion for hair began at the age of 14 when I spent my school holidays in a salon, and from that moment, I knew this was the career for me. I’ve been hairdressing ever since, and I still love the creativity it allows me to express every day. There’s something so rewarding about bringing a client’s vision to life, whether it’s a bold new style or a subtle refresh. I take great pride in my work, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and happy.
Outside of the salon, I’m a proud mum and love spending time with my son. We’re always out and about, whether it’s going to the beach, riding bikes, or exploring nature together. Staying active and creative is important to me, so I enjoy Pilates and painting in my free time. But above all, my biggest passion outside of hairdressing is music. I absolutely love going to gigs—there’s nothing better than experiencing live music and the energy that comes with it.
For me, hairdressing is more than just a job; it’s about making people feel their best, building connections, and continuously learning and growing in an industry I love.
MEL - MASTER STYLIST
With over 20 years in the hair industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible clients and refining my craft through experience and competition. I’ve been lucky enough to compete in industry events such as the L’Oréal Colour Trophy and was honored to be chosen as a stylist for Melbourne Fashion Week two years in a row.
Hairdressing is my passion, and I love the creativity it allows me to express. No two days are ever the same, and I enjoy the challenge of bringing my clients’ visions to life—just don’t ask me to roll a perm!
Outside of the salon, my world revolves around my family. I love staying active, whether it’s exercising, stand-up paddleboarding, or taking long walks on the beach. I also enjoy planning little getaways to create special memories with my kids. Life is all about balance, and I’m grateful to do what I love while making time for the people who matter most.
ANEKA - SENIOR STYLIST
I’ve always had a passion for being creative and trying new things, especially when it comes to hair. I absolutely love doing balayage, foils, and I’m particularly skilled at creating my signature "Aneka's Special Waves" that bring out the best in my clients’ hair. It’s all about tailoring each look to fit my clients' individual style and helping them feel confident with their hair.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll likely find me line dancing or enjoying jazz and lyrical dance. Music plays a big role in my life, and I’m always jamming to the latest hits. It’s all part of my drive to stay inspired and bring fresh energy into my work.
I started working with Beyond Beautiful Style Lounge in 2021, and since then, it’s been an amazing journey. The team and clients inspire me every day to push the limits of my craft.
One of my big goals now is to learn how to install and blend extensions, as I know how transformative they can be. I’m excited to continue growing and offering even more personalised services to help my clients achieve their dream hair!
ZOE - SENIOR STYLIST
Hey, I’m Zoe! I’ve been a qualified hairstylist for three years, but I’m always looking to grow my skills and further my education. Hairdressing never feels like work to me—it’s an adventure every day! The best part of my job is meeting all kinds of people and helping them feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
I have a passion for blondes, bold colour transformations, and vibrant shades, but I love everything from a fresh cut to a flawless blow-dry. Whether you’re after something subtle or a total makeover, I’m here for it!
When I’m not at work or spending time with my son, you’ll find me with a good book or deep into a crime documentary. I’m always up for a great musical—or a spontaneous hair change!
I’m also a qualified makeup artist, and I love creating everything from soft, natural glam to bold, colourful looks—because let’s be real, a little shimmer can fix anything!

MACKENZIE - EMERGING ARTIST
Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I’m just starting out on my hairdressing journey, and I couldn’t be more excited to be in an industry that’s all about creativity and self-expression. I’ve always been fascinated by the way a great hairstyle can completely transform someone’s confidence, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients light up when they love their hair. It’s moments like these that fuel my passion and make me eager to grow and learn more every day.
Being part of such a creative and passionate team has been an incredible experience so far, and I’m soaking up as much knowledge and expertise as I can. I’m really looking forward to developing my skills and getting better with each cut, colour, and style I do. I know the journey ahead is going to be full of learning and growth, and I can’t wait to see where this path takes me.
Outside of the salon, I’m focused on finishing my studies while making time for the things I love. You’ll often find me curled up with a good book, enjoying musicals, listening to my favorite music, or spending time with my dog. I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
